Spiros Panigirakis: Settings
Spiros Panigirakis: Settings comprised three major new sculptural works that both referred to and derived from the context and specific architectures of Sarah Scout Presents. The materials, measurements and modes of the works were developed in situ, with materiality, scale and function corresponding directly to the specifics of the space, and the works themselves operating somewhere between sculptural intervention and functional furniture.
The exhibition continued Panigirakis’ interest in the way in which presentational devices, furniture and organisational frameworks influence the construction of meaning, form and sociability.
