Sanja Pahoki's new neon work i tired (2020) has been installed at Mitchell House, as part of a durational project titled The Window.
Over the course of a year, a new neon artwork will be created and installed every two months on the first-floor window of Mitchell House on the corner of Elizabeth and Lonsdale Streets, Melbourne. By using intimate, vernacular language, a direct connection between artist and passersby is attempted as Pahoki creates a series of small gestures that depend on the mood of the artist and respond to broader social contexts.
